Party in the City 2009
PARTY IN THE CITY 2009
Friday 22 May
Come and Join the Biggest Free Show in Bath!
Following the huge success of last year's Party in the City, we are inviting you all to join in the 2009 event.
Artists and Musicians
Taking place on the opening Friday of Bath International Music Festival, this year's Party in the City will be a spectacular occasion, celebrating the rich, fun and vibrant cultural life of our city and the surrounding area in venues and public spaces throughout Bath.
So please get thinking about how you could be part of the brilliant Party in the City programme by organising an event of your choice that can be part of the free public showcase of talent, culture and the arts that is Party in the City.
Information for Venues
For Friday 22 May 2009 Bath International Music Festival is coordinating an exciting programme of free events in Bath venues, including Bath Abbey, the Forum, Mission Theatre and St Michael's. But, like last year, you can join in the programme too!
Your venue, no matter how large or small, could be part of the brilliant Party in the City programme. You can organise an event of your own, or we could put you in touch with performers who are keen to play. Alternatively, you could just stay open late and take advantage of the busy city! Whichever route you take, we hope you will be part of the free public showcase of talent, culture and the arts that is Party in the City.
"To be in Bath on Friday night was to be part of an exciting and uplifting experience where you felt you were an active ingredient in a musical cocktail that had many different flavours, colours and varieties." - The Bath Chronicle on Party in the City 2008
